Monkey Snuggles

Ysabella wears a variety of different cloth diapers on her little bum. I go with whatever I can barter for or whatever is economical. We use everything from prefolds with wraps to fitteds with woolies! Last week I was on the lookout for some bigger sizes and some new wool covers for warmer weather. I came across Monkey Snuggles. They seemed very economically priced and the designs ranged from neutral to super cute. They stock pocket diapers and one size fitteds in organic bamboo! (Of all the diapers we have used, I find that I like the bamboo the best.) They also stock some wonderful looking wool covers in short and long styles.

I ordered one diaper to start with. It showed up in my mailbox freakishly fast! I tried it on Ysabella the next day and loved it! It really wicked the moisture away from her bottom. I then decided to order another diaper and a wool cover! Let me just say that I am not a cloth diaper nazi. I don't spend hours online shopping for them and I don't visit lots of cloth diapering forums. What I am is a busy mom who needs to save money. And I know what I like. I can tell you that these diapers are economically priced, easy to use, absorb wetness and fit well. Isn't that what a diaper should do? As a bonus, they look good!

Check out the shop at http://www.monkeysnugglesdiaper.etsy.com/ and look around. Come back here and leave a comment about what you see and you will be entered to win a $20.00 gift certificate! How cool is that? Place an order and get an extra entry! Order from us at http://www.farmsteadorganics.etsy.com/ and get another entry! Refer someone to this blog and get one more entry! Just make sure that you leave your email in the comment section. The drawing will take place on April 2 at noon!

I would choose the stash builder 4 pack one size fits most. What a great deal for that many one size fits diapers. Thanks for the opportunity!

Well, those are so cute! I think I could even squeeze Sophia's large bum into one! Haha, or give some away as a gift. Here's my email:

If I could do it over again I think I would use cloth diapers for sure especially the way they are made today. Although we have no need for diapers anymore (well..sometimes some of them act like they do. haha lol)I still have friends that do so I like to keep an eye out for them or use them as a gift. These are fair priced so I will gladly pass this along.

These are adorable! I use the fuzzibunz, but may give these a try. I thought the wool soakers were cute..although I've never seen them before. Do they just go over your cloth diaper?

I love those bamboo fleece diaper inserts - they seem the most economical way to test out the bamboo... And to answer JenniferG's question - the soakers can go over straight cloth diapers. Of course with all wool covers, they should be washed with a wool soap that contains lanolin to ensure leak protection.

My friend Crystal L. tried to post her comment but was having technical difficulties. She wanted to say:
"We just started cd this year and would have no problem adding to our stash, :o)! What a generous offer! Lots of cute dipe options... and I LOVE bamboo! Wouldn't mind checking out the wool covers either. I'd have to shop a little to decide how I'd use the $20 gift cert. Right now we're using mostly prefolds/covers and pockets/inserts. "

They're all super cute, and I'm excited that they're bamboo: more absorbant and "green."
Thanks for drawing our attention to this seller!

I love the Modern Girl pocket diaper! I just started using cloth about 3 weeks ago and I really love it! It is only a few extra loads of laundry a week and I love that my daughter's diaper rash is gone now!

Oh, I love the little sailor design, since our nursery is a sailboat theme! But realistically I'd probably treat the gift cert. as a really great discount and get the stashbuilder. We never had enough diapers for our first and had to switch to disposable once he got bigger - I plan to remedy that with baby #2!

I like the fact that they have discount starter packs. $105 or $140 sounds really reasonable to get started in cloth diapers.

I think these new diapering systems are great! Sure has come a long way from the folded cloth diapers and rubber pants of 30 years ago when I was diapering my kids! My daughter has begun to use cloth with her two month old son and I'd like this for her...the little sailer bamboo cloth diaper is too cute!

I love Monkey Snuggles! We have six of the bamboo fitteds (one in a cute print), a wool soaker, and longies on the way. If I had all the money in the world I'd order another five pack of bamboo and another soaker or two.

I have been looking at the Monkey Snuggles site for a few weeks now. So excited to see your review! I love how the pocket diapers have the pocket part in the front! How awesome is that! I also like the solid color pul. Super cute and gender neutral for more than one babe!

We have three Monkey Snuggles one-size bamboo velour fitteds and we love them. They are soooo soft and absorbant - we even got to pick the thread and snap colors we wanted. I will be in the market for more soon. Renee is fab and great with fast communications!

I have been procrastinating switching to clothe diapers because of the convenience of disposable and because of the initial investment in the clothe. After looking at the Misfits I am reconsidering that option. I firmly believe that it would be easier to potty train later when they can actually feel the wetness. My first two babes were 3 before they figured it out! With tough times ahead, I think these clothe diapers may be a wise, economical option. This is definately a case of positive peer pressure! shandrajwren@msn.com
